Autobiography

Orazbekova Kuralay Satybaldinovna was born on December 21, 1980 in Almaty region, nationality - Kazakh. In 1998 she entered the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi. In 2002 she received bachelor’s degree in "Cartography" and in 2004 she completed Master's degree in Geography. From 2002 to 2017 she worked as a junior researcher at the Institute of Geography. In 2017 she defended her PhD thesis in the specialty 25.00.36 - "Geoecology". Since 2017 to this days has worked as a senior researcher at the Institute of Geography and Water Safety in the Geotourism and Geomorphology Laboratory. From September 2016 to September 2017 had worked as a senior lecturer at the Department of Water Resources and Land Reclamation at KazNAU. Since September 2022 she was accepted as a senior lecturer at the Department of Cartography and Geoinformatics at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
